Private Dentistry Awards 2007

The practice was short listed as a finalist in the prestigious Private Dentistry Awards 2007. This was in the Best Patient Care category. Damian, Sharon and Laura attended the awards ceremony at the Cafe Royal in London. A photo of them is shown here.

New surgery

We have now fully refurbished the upstairs surgery in which the dental therapists work..

Digital x-rays

We have now converted the x-rays in the practice to digital. This has a number of advantages. In particular we are able to show x-rays to patients more easily.

Sedation training

In order to increase the availability of appointments for patients requiring sedation three nurses have just attended a course in London to provide them with the necessary training to assist with sedations.

New websites

We now have two new websites which provide more information about cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. We felt this was the best way of providing aditional information about these treatments in any easy to navigate format.

Good Practice Scheme

The practice has been successful in its application to join the Good Practice Scheme run by the British Dental Association. This involved an assessment of the practice to ensure full compliance with all current guidelines and standards for dental practices.

Digital x-rays

We have now installed the latest technology to take digital x-rays. This has many benefits such as a lower radiation dose and the ability to show images on a computer monitor so you can better understand your treatment.

Finance scheme

For more extensive course of treatment we are able to arrange finance facilities so that payment can be made over a number of years. Ask us for details.
