Advances in techniques now mean there are many ways to improve your smile. These various treatments are referred to as cosmetic dentistry.

Tooth Whitening

If you are not happy with the colour of your teeth and feel they are not as bright as they used to be then you could benefit from tooth whitening.

We offer three alternative methods of tooth whitening. The first is the BriteSmile one hour in surgery method see the separate page on this treatment. The second is the at home tray based system. After a dental examination trays are made in which you wear gel for an hour or so for up to two weeks. This lightens your teeth and gives the appearance of your teeth a great boost.The third is the Enlighten system which a deep bleach technique. Ask your dentist for details.Superficial staining can be removed with our Air Flow Handy treatment. This can be carried out at your routine hygienist appointment or at a separate visit.

Crowns

Crowns are available in a wide range of materials. Crowns can be made of all ceramic or a combination of metal and ceramic. The materials available now can combine the best aspects to produce strength without compromising on the appearance. We can provide crowns made with the Emax, Procera, Duceragold, and Inceram systems among others.

Veneers

Veneers are thin layers of ceramic that are bonded to the surface of teeth. They allow the colour shape and position of teeth to be altered. They have the advantage that less tooth preparation is required than for a crown. We can provide veneers made using specialist systems such as Empress.

Tooth Coloured Inlays and Fillings
