Payment Plans - Our View
Budgeting to meet the cost of treatment
We know that prevention is better than a cure. Payment plans, in our view, do not provide value for money. On this basis we do not support any payments plans such as BUPA, Denplan etc....
Dartmouth Dental Practice Maintenance Plan
We have looked carefully at the various schemes that are available in the dental market. Our conclusion is that we feel we can provide our very own self administered maintenance plan which will allow you to budget your routine dental treatment. In the unfortunate event that you need treatment, then as a member of our scheme, you are entitled to a 10% reduction on the cost of the treatment.
Direct Debit Mandate
To become a member of our maintenance scheme you simple call in at the surgery or telephone and express your interest. We will forward you the necessary forms. We then set-up a direct debit with your bank and we collect payment on a monthly basis. It's that simple. You can withdraw from the scheme at any time.
Spreading the cost of Treatment
We are conscious that dental treatment is costly and in some cases you may feel it would be advantageous to spread the cost over 2, 3 or 4 months. If you are a member of our scheme we can make the necessary adjustments to adjust your direct debit mandate over 2,3 or 4 months - so spreading the cost. Once the treatment is complete we revert back to your monthly maintenance amount.
How much will I pay for the plan?
Your dentist will look carefully at your dental history and advise you on the amount you need to pay to cover your routine dental maintenance needs.
