Fund Raising 

On 15th June 2008, the staff of Orchard Lane Dental Practice held a charity golf tournament at the Windwhistle Golf course, Chard. to raise money for the Akambai fund.

A great day was had by all and in November Principle Dentist David de Klerk will be  travelling to Kenya to see first hand the charity at work and offer his services to the community while there.
 
David de Klerk, Principal dentist of Merrifield Dental Practice in Sidmouth visited Gai region of Kenya accompanied by Dr James Buckle, a GP, Simon Fracklewicz, an optometrist and Mr Jeremy Rawle, a well known local engineer.   Read more.

March 13 2009 - ORCHARD LANE DENTAL PRACTICE - DOING SOMETHING FUNNY FOR MONEY

Red nose day had the nurses and receptionist at Orchard Lane Dental Practice, Crewkerne s rummaging through their fancy dress boxes this week for something funny to wear for money.

 

Patients were asked to donate to the charity and also vote for their favourite fancy dress costume on Thursday and Friday.

Children to the practice were also joining in the fun by playing spot the red nose, as red noses were hidden around the practice and children asked to find as many as possible.

The staff at Orchard Lane Dental Practice will be running a slide show over the next week to give any one who did not have chance to see their costumes a chance to vote and donate.

April 2009 - Orchard Lane Dental Nurse

Emma Male has been lucky enough to have been accepted in the Flora London Marathon 2009. She will be raising as much money as she can for a charity that is close to her and her family; St. Margaret’s Hospice. St Margaret's Somerset Hospice is your local charity committed to providing specialist palliative care, advice, support and respite to patients and their families living in Somerset and parts of neighbouring counties.
