Your choice for Dental Care with us
As individuals we are having to make more and more provision for our own health needs. The Mortiboys Dental Health Centre believes that the best way of making treatment affordable, without compromising our quality of care, is to offer you membership of our own Preventative Health Care Plan or Maintenance Plan which provide the following benefits:

- Greater choice of treatment and materials
- More time to help prevent decay
- An extended payment facility to spread any additional costs
- A fair and equitable system where everybody pays the same
- Substantial discounts on additional treatments and sundries
- Worldwide Trauma and Emergency Call-Out Insurance.
Childrens Plan - £11.75 per month.
Our Children's Plan has been developed to ensure that your child receives all the preventive techniques currently available. Regular visits to the dental health educator give your child the knowledge and skills to maintain their own teeth and gums for a lifetime.
- From age 3 to 18, a minimum of three visits per year to build dental awareness and cleaning skills.
- Dietary advice and instruction on sugar control.
- Free toothbrushes, when required, at each visit.
- Fissure sealants, as required.
- Regular review of child's home dental care.
- Instruction concerning acid erosion.
- X-Ray pictures, as necessary.
- Dental cleaning and education as necessary.
- Routine fillings, if required, are included in the Plan.
- 20% discount off root canal therapy and laboratory-based work (including orthodontic treatment).
Preventative Health Care Plan - £14.50 per month
- Regular clinical appointments (two per year) to provide:
- Clinical Examination
- Screening for oral cancer
- X-Ray pictures where clinically necessary
- Regular Hygienist appointments (two per year) to provide:
- Cleaning and continuing oral hygiene coaching
- Periodontal advice
- Preventative techniques to reduce decay and gum disease.
- Assessment of emergencies and dental pain with any temporary treatment required, carried out at the practice during normal surgery hours.
- All treatment planning for your future dental needs.
- Production of study models when required.
- All subsequent remedial work within 12 months of restorative work.
- 20% reduction off any laboratory-based treatments required i.e. crowns, bridges and dentures, orthodontics.
- 20% reduction off any fillings.
- 20% reduction off other Dental work (extractions, etc)
- 20% reduction off any additional Hygienist work.
- Extended Payment Scheme available for treatments over £2,000.
- Worldwide Trauma insurance to protect against large unforeseen accidental damage.
- Emergency Call-Out insurance, should you need a Dentist in an emergency, anywhere in the world.

Maintenance Plan - £10.85 per month
As for the Preventative Health Care Plan but with only one clinical appointment per year.
Extended Payment Scheme
For any plan members who require additional treatment costing more than £2,000, we offer the convenience of being able to spread the payment over 10 months, by simply adding the fee to the existing direct debit. Please note our normal discount rate is reduced from 20% to 10% when the Extended Payment Scheme is used. Our staff will be pleased to discuss the details with you.
Worldwide Trauma and Emergency Call-out Insurance.
Emergency Call-Out cover can be provided by any dentist worldwide who agrees to treat you. The cover is for a maximum of £95 per claim with an excess payable of £25 - total amount reclaimable £70. You simply pay the emergency Call-Out charge to the dentist concerned and collect a receipted invoice. This will be processed through the practice for re-imbursement from the insurers. This is to provide emergency treatment only. You should return to the practice in normal hours for any further treatment required, provision of which may be already included in the Plan or may qualify for a discount.
Dental Trauma
If you are unfortunate enough to suffer a dental trauma, for example, as a result of a road traffic accident or an accident at home or work, the insurance cover is in place for a maximum of £5,000 with a £225 excess applicable. In addition, should you have to stay in hospital as a result of a dental trauma, you will be entitled to claim £25 per day, after the first day. If you are scarred on the face or neck as a result of the accident, you will be entitled to compensation from £50 to £500.
Oral Cancer
Should oral cancer be diagnosed, you will receive a payment of £1000.
Registration and Insurance Scheme
If you prefer to remain a fee-per-item patient, we recommend that you take out the insurance only option. The insurance cover is as above and costs £25 per year which will include registration with the practice. It is, however, conditional upon you attending the practice either once or twice a year for check-ups and having any remedial work undertaken as soon as possible, payment for which is not covered.

The monthly fee, which is for routine examination, hygiene and x-rays, as well as other benefits, is collected by monthly direct debit. The services in the plan are the same for all our patients and as a result, all patients pay the same. Direct debit has become a well-accepted method of budgeting monthly and we are delighted to offer this payment method at the practice.
Membership of our plan means that patients automatically qualify for a discount on any other treatment they require or request and patients can use an extended payment facility to pay over 10 months if they prefer (conditions apply).

Worldwide Trauma & Emergency Call-Out Insurance

The cover is for a maximum of £120 per claim with an excess payable of £25 - the total amount reclaimable £95. You simply pay the emergency call-out charge to the dentist concerned and collect a receipted invoice. This will then be processed through the practice for reimbursement from the insurers. This is to provide emergency treatment only. You should return to the practice in normal hours for any further treatment required.
Dental Trauma
If you are unfortunate enough to suffer a dental trauma, for example, as a result of a road traffic accident or an accident at home or work, the insurance cover is in place for a maximum of £5,000 with a £125 excess applicable for internal trauma and a £25 excess for external trauma. In addition, should you have to stay in hospital as a result of a dental trauma, you will be entitled to claim £35 per day, after the first day. If you are scarred on the face or neck as a result of the accident, you will be entitled to compensation from £50 to £500.
Oral Cancer
A payment of £2,000 will be paid upon diagnosis of oral cancer.
Redundancy Protection
Plan premiums paid for up to one year, with a waiting period of 30 days.

How to join our Payment Plan
Simply call in at the practice or complete the feedback form.
We will provide you with an agreement form which will require your signature and bank account details for the Direct Debit Mandate.
Direct debits are collected from your account on the 8th of every month. Any patient enrolling before the 27th day of each month will benefit from cover from the 8th of the following month.

How do I register?
