Jon Taylor

BDS DPDS

Jon qualified from Guys Dental School in 1989 and worked as a House Surgeon before moving to general practice in the West Country in 1990. In 1999 he became a Principal at Orchard Lane Dental Practice and achieved DPDS qualification at the University of Bristol. He has a particular interest in cosmetic dentistry and homeopathy. Jon enjoys playing computer games and DIY in the country cottage he shares with his wife, Karen, their three children and a German Shepherd in the Blackdown Hills.

Felicity Taylor-French

Cert DPM

Felicity has been working in the field of dentistry since 1990 and joined Orchard Lane in 2003. A qualified Business Manager, Felicity enjoys all aspects of managing a team of dental professionals and excels in developing practices to reach their full potential. Since moving back to the West Country, Felicity spends her free time enjoying the countryside and coast with her beloved English Bull Terrier.

Rebecca Bristow

Rebecca joined Orchard Lane in the summer of 2006 from working as general manager in her families garage business. Rebecca brings with her a wealth of management experience and an unlimited abundance of enthusiasm and energy. Rebecca lives with her husband, Robin, and enjoys swimming, socialising, wine and tapestry.

Michael Dods

LDS RCS Eng, BDS Lond, DGDP (U

Michael qualified at Guys hospital Dental School in 1967 and since has gained a wealth of dental experince through his continued professional development and member ship to numerous dental societies. In 1995 he gained his diploma in general dental practice and in 2002 Micahel achieved the diploma of membership in general dental surgery at the royal college of surgeons in Edinburgh.

Karen Taylor

EDH

Karen qualified as a dental hygienist from Guys University in 1990. Karen provides her patients with a clear understanding of how to keep their mouths healthy in between visits in a relaxing and fun atmosphere. Karen, who is married to Jon, has a keen interest in alternative therapy and holds qualifications in aromatherapy, massage, Indian Head Massage and reiki.

Wendy Dods

Wendy has been working in the field of dentistry since 1980 and qualified with distinction as a dental hygienist from the Eastman Dental Hospital in 2002 and winning the Nugent Cup. Married, with two daughters, Wendy lives with her husband, Michael, and her interests include walking her English springer spaniel, reading, wine and music.

Paula Brake

Paula rejoined Orchard Lane earlier this year as David's nurse. Alongside her of years experience her warm, approachable persons ensures her patients have the very best in dental care.

Sharon Breckenridge

Sharon has been at Orchard Lane since 1991 when she joined as a school leaver. Over the years Sharon has proved to be a dedicated committed worker excelling in cross infection control. From August 2007 Sharon has changed her position and will be using her expertise at our two sister practices, Brookvale in Honiton and Merrifield in Sidmouth as well as at Orchard Lane.

Sam Robbins

Sam joined Orchard Lane in 2005 and works alongside Jon as his nurse and cosmetic consultant. Sam thrives on improving her knowledge by attending many courses in cosmetic and aesthetic dentistry.

Emma Male

Emma joined Orchard Lane in 2006 after working in several local practices. Her enthusiasm and energy make Orchard Lane a very happy place to be. From August Emma will be assisting our new dentist Bernd.

Jessica Diamond

Jess joined our practice in 2007 and works alongside Michael. Jess's quiet and calm approach is a great asset to our practice.

New for 2008 Michael and Jess are introducing IV Sedation within our practice. This technique is popular with patients and is used to overcome the fear of dentistry.

Andrea Kew & Tania Brooks

You will be greeted with a warm and friendly smile from our two patient coordinators Andrea and Tania. Andrea has been with Orchard Land for the past four years and some of you will remember her from her nursing days within the practice. Her infectious giggle is renowned at Orchard Lane! Tania joined us in 2006 and her calm sympathetic approach immediately puts you at ease. Tania and Andrea are both happy to help and assist you with all your dental needs.
