| About Me | |
| I am a highly experienced general dentist, committed to keeping my skills up to date by undertaking frequent postgraduate courses. I act as a professional adviser for various health service committees and have trained young dentists for general practice. I specialise in reassuring and helping patients who are apprehensive, taking time to listen and providing clear explanations so that my patients fully understand the proposed treatment.
My small friendly team are all committed to gentle quality dental care, making you feel comfortable and giving you excellent service. |

| Claire - Hygienist | |
| Claire Handscomb is one of our hygienists in this practice. She shares with Wendy a commitment to gentle quality dental care and will do her utmost to make your visit as comfortable as she can as well as achieving marked improvements in your oral health. Claire trained at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London and graduated in 2003 gaining the Oral B prize for patient management and motivation. After her training in London Claire was keen to return to her West Country roots and now lives with her husband in Ilminster. Claire is a dedicated member of the dental profession and regularly attends courses to continue her progression and professional development. |  |
| Sue Swingewood - Hygienist | |
| Sue is one of our three hygienists and has been with us since September 2007. She joined us after moving down from Worcestershire and is enjoying her life in the West Country.
Sue has been a yoga teacher and also includes in her hobbies walking, badminton and cycling. |

| Susan Irvine - Hygienist | |
| Susan is another of our hygienists and, as with all the girls, a very valuable member of our team. She is on the Board of Examiners for dental nurses and runs courses at the local college.
Susan enjoys walking, skiing and is a very serious cyclist! |

| Sandra - Dental Nurse | |
| Sandra Fairhead works alongside Wendy in the surgery. She qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1988 and spent several years in Dubai working as a Dental Nurse, until returning to the UK in 1999 where she nursed in a practice in Fulham. Sandra in her spare time enjoys sailing, going to the gym and yoga. |  |
| Ingrid - Receptionist | |
| Ingrid Godfrey is one of our receptionists in the practice. She is originally from Crewkerne but now lives with her husband on their dairy farm near Marston Magna. She enjoys going to the gym, swimming, hockey and cooking as well as looking after her numerous animals! She is always ready to help you and to greet you with a friendly smile. |  |
| Jane Allen - Receptionist | |
| Jane is our most recent team member and is one of our receptionists. She loves being on the front desk and, like Ingrid and Nadine, keeps our patients relaxed and very well looked after.
Her hobbies include travel, swimming and dancing and Jane is very involved in the Scout Movement. |

| Nadine - Receptionist | |
| Nadine has been a qualified dental nurse since 1999 and has worked in practices in Cambridgeshire, Australia and most recently in Chard. She enjoys reading, socialising and shopping! |  |
| Brenda - Bookkeeper | |
| Brenda Ford is our bookkeeper, and manages the non clinical side of the practice. She plays the guitar and loves music and dance. |  |
