Wendy and her Team have won two coveted Dentistry Awards at a ceremony held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel on Friday 24th April 2009. They have won the 'Team of the Year Highly Commended' and Jane was awarded the 'Receptionist of the Year Highly Commended'

| Wendy set this practice up as her dream vision in 2004. She wanted to create a practice that would be a joy for patients and staff. we think she has succeeded and so do our patients. But Wendy is not only the boss, she is also a fully signed up member of the team. She is an experienced general dentist who takes extra time to listen to patients and deliver modern dental care in a gentle and reassuring way. Our small friendly team are all committed to gentle quality dental care, making you feel comfortable and giving you excellent service. |

| Claire - Hygienist |

| Claire Handscomb is one of our hygienists in this practice. Claire trained at the Eastman Dental Hospital in London and graduated in 2003 gaining the Oral B prize for patient management and motivation. After her training in London Claire was keen to return to her West Country roots and now lives with her husband and son Theo in Ilminster. Claire is a dedicated member of the dental profession and regularly attends courses to continue her progression and professional development. |  |

Sue is one of our hygienists and qualified from Cardiff Dental hospital in 1977. One qualified, she worked for Dudley Health Authority in their many dental clinics. In 1980 Sue obtained the Certificate of Health Education and has also worked as a Dental Health Educator in schools.

Susan is one of our hygienists and qualified from the London hospital in 1985. She has a wide experience in a range of clinical settings from community clinics to private practice. Susan joined us in 2007 and is one of three lovely hygienists. Setting up the Dental Courses in yeovil was one of her many projects and Susan is tutoring evening classes. She has been a Dental Nurse examiner for over 10 years.In her spare time Susan enjoys bellringing and cycling ans is cycling 500 miles through Malawi later this year for Lepra. |

| Sandra Fairhead works alongside Wendy in the surgery. She qualified as a Dental Nurse in 1988 and spent several years in Dubai working as a Dental Nurse, until returning to the UK in 1999 where she nursed in a practice in Fulham. Sandra in her spare time enjoys sailing, going to the gym and yoga. |  |
| Jane - Receptionist | |
| Jane is one of our receptionists and as the first point of contact, Jane loves the front desk role ensuring patients are relaxed and at ease and enjoy their visits to us. Jane has been in dentistry for 9 years and has always worked in the customer service sector. She says that her aim is to make sure everyone leaves the surgery with a happy smile. Away from dentistry Jane is involved with the Scout Movement and loves dancing, theatre, shopping, swimming and travel.

| Nadine - Receptionist | |
| Nadine is our Friday receptionist and also provides nursing cover. She has been a qualified dental nurse since 1999 and has worked in practices in Cambridgeshire, Australia and Somerset. Nadine has recently had her first baby but is very happy to be back in a job she loves where both patients and team enjoy the relaxed,calm atmosphere. She also enjoys reading,socialising and shopping! |  |
| Brenda - Business Manager |

Brenda is our business manager and that covers a multitude of sins! She manages the non clinical side of the practice.On leaving school, Brenda was articled to a firm of chartered accountants in Salisbury and has worked in accounts and finance ever since. Her interests include skiing, walking, dancing and fun! She is also learning to play the guitar very badly! |
