*  NHS Patient Satisfaction Reached 100%!!

To date, an average of 98.1% of our patients surveyed by the NHS were satisfied with the treatment they received at Stevenage Orthodontics compared to a national average of 94.5% - with a 100% result achieved twice in a row!

Welcome to our Practice

Our Principal Orthodontist, Jonathan Alexander-Abt established this centrally located, specialist practice in Stevenage in 2003 in order to serve the orthodontic treatment needs of the Stevenage and North Hertfordshire communities.

The clinic employs the latest technologies, including digital x-ray imaging equipment, which reduces the radiation dose to patients and enables us to provide our referring general dentists with digitized copies of their patients´ x-rays. The practice is fully computerised. Our practice has achieved Investor in People, BDA Good Practice Scheme and ISO 9001 accreditation.

Treatment under the NHS

All patients aged 17 and under are entitled to a free Orthodontic Assessment. Following the NHS reforms introduced in April 2006, patients who are 17 and under and whose orthodontic problem meets the new criteria, are eligible for Orthodontic Treatment. New NHS patients are currently seen for their first appointment approximately 12 weeks following referral.

We achieve this through employing highly qualified and experienced staff who undergo continuous training and appraisal. We welcome suggestions and comments, as this feedback helps us to enhance our service.

Safety. We adhere to the latest regulations and British Dental Association guidelines for health and safety and we are an accredited member of the BDA Good Practice Scheme.

Opening Hours

We are open Monday to Thursday 8:40am to 6pm and Fridays 9:30am to 1pm. We are closed for lunch between 1pm and 2pm.
