WORKING TOGETHER At Young's Dental Practice we are committed to providing the highest possible standard of care for our patients. An important part of fulfilling this commitment is ensuring that we work in partnership with you. This helps us understand you and tend to your specific needs. Below, we describe some of our responsibilities to you and your part in your care. PREVENTATIVE DENTAL PRACTICE Treatment Plans Your dentist can provide a full range of treatment for you including cosmetic dentistry, dentures, homeopathy, tooth whitening and anti-snoring devices. After a thorough clinical examination, your dentist will describe the treatment that he or she recommends, an estimate of its cost and any alternatives that are available. Any relevant risks will be discussed. Where appropriate, the dentist will use photographs and other visual aids to help explain the treatment. Please do not hesitate to ask questions - we want to be sure that you fully understand and agree with the proposed treatment. The dentist can give you some information to take home to help, if you are unsure of any aspect of the treatment. A written estimate and treatment plan will be provided for all courses of treatment upon request. We provide a range of ways to pay for your dental care and we accept payment in cash or by cheque, credit and debit card or by instalments. We can also offer care under Young's Dental Practice Plan where payment is made monthly from your bank account. Please ask and we will be pleased to provide further information. We are always keen to hear your views so please feel free to contact the practice if you have any comments concerning the website or the services that we offer. Team News Wendy Pomfret - We would like to inform you of the tragic death of Wendy. She had been with us for over 15 years on the nursing and reception side. She had been suffering from her illness for over 3 years but despite this she would come into work as often as she could despite all her setbacks and treatment. We are sure that you, like us, shall all miss her larger than life personality and the practice shall be left with a big void.
